The Company

Robert Half have been retained on an exclusive business by a leading Healthcare company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a General Manager/Managing Director to lead and expand the fastest growing division within their portfolio. This role will have full day to day responsibility of sales, marketing, tender, business development and maintenance teams

The Role

Reporting to the COO, who prefers to be in the background, you will be the "face" of the business and have full responsibility for all Operations. Other responsibilities will include developing and implementing the sales and marketing plan, motivating, managing and training key team members and getting actively involved in building and maintaining relationships with key clientele. You will drive the Sales teams and be responsible for the development on the business across the GCC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a high-performing team that can effectively develop and execute operating plans in support of the company' s strategic plan
  • Direct all aspects of company' s sales functions and initiatives with accountability for delivering results
  • Develop the organization' short- and long-term goals and strategies in conjunction with the Board of Directors and the organization' s senior executive team,
  • Coordinate across all operating functional areas to develop maximum alignment and prioritization of effort within the company
  • Integrate effectively with the Board and other stakeholders in order to understand objectives for the business, as well as to provide critical insights necessary for stakeholders to provide effective support
  • Oversee the organization' s leadership team in the deployment of policies and procedures meant to help the organization meet its stated business objectives
  • Provide thought leadership and mentoring to all of the functional leaders
  • Align departmental strategy or direction with the overall goals of the organization

Candidate

  • Degree from a well-regarded university, ideally MBA
  • About 15 years of sales management and leadership experience in Healthcare/Medical products field, preferably in KSA
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent English and Arabic communication skills
  • Strong team player and collaboration skills
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels in the organization and influence key decision makers
  • Ability to represent the business and Establishment at government level
  • Ability to manage talent and develop people

Salary

$250,000 plus excellent benefits
