The Company
Our client is a leading high profile organization and are looking for a General Ledger Manager to oversee the accounting department The Role Key responsibilities will be:
- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of the departmental strategy and plans in order to enable the achievement of departmental needs and objectives.
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the assigned organizational unit by ensuring that work processes are implemented as designed, established standards and procedures are complied with
- Contribute to the development and oversee the implementation of department policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of the department activities to ensure that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled
- Prepare the budget related to General Ledger
- Supervise the preparation and review the financial statements along with the accompanying notes and ensure they are submitted to the Division Manager and Financial Statement Consolidation section on time.
- Control all postings from subsidiary ledgers such as accounts payable, fixed assets and payroll
- Strive for continuous improvement of section systems, processes, and practices while taking into account international best
The Candidate
- Have a minimum of ten years experience in a project environment
- Have a background working for the Big 4
- Have a Professional Accounting Qualification is essential
- Have strong ERP system experience with a track record in implementing new policies and procedures
- Have experience managing and training teams
Salary and Benefits
A salary of approximately per annum is on offer 105,000 – 115,000 USD depending on experience
